In a world where the pressure to excel and conform can feel overwhelming, it's easy to lose sight of our inherent worthiness. Addiction, in its various forms, often emerges as a coping mechanism in response to this inner struggle, a quest to fill a void or numb the pain of inadequacy. But what if the antidote to addiction lies not in external fixes, but in embracing the profound truth: "I am enough"? This class will help you to reclaim your sense of self-worth, by reconnecting with your inner strength, and rediscovering the power of self-compassion. In this transformative journey, we'll delve into the roots of addiction, exploring the complex interplay of biological, psychological, and social factors that contribute to its grip. But beyond understanding the mechanisms of addiction, we'll embark on a deeper exploration—one that leads us back to ourselves. We will be using Neurographic Art, Meditation & Breathwork as a way of reprogramming the belief systems we have adopted and/or hold around addition. Our focus we be around re-building the relationship with have with ourselves, understanding more about who we are, where our addictive behaviours may have come from, and realising that we have the capacity and capabilities to overcome addictions & addictive behaviours. Guidance: We want to gently acknowledge that emotions may surface during your class. It's important to prioritise your comfort and well-being. Keeping a journal or piece of paper on hand is a great way to write down notes, feelings and emotions that may come forward. Please remember that you can leave the Zoom session at any time. You're under no obligation to be on camera or audio; your participation level is entirely up to what feels right for you. We're here to create a supportive space, and your comfort is our priority. Equipment needed: - Pen of your personal preference (Sharpie, fine liner, marker pen, gel pen, ink) - Paper (Size of your preference) - Colouring Equipment of your preference (Crayons, Felt tips, Coloured Pens, Watercolour, Chalk, Wax Crayons)
